About
Robert Frank is a highly versatile artist — his career as an architectural illustrator began with pencil and paper, and over the years he's transitioned to a 100% digital workflow. The illustrations he creates himself range from digital sketches using an iPad Pro to photorealistic renders on a dedicated render workstation.
Robert works closely with clients to develop concept sketches based on “napkin” sketches as well as marketing renderings developed from CAD files.
Robert is a past president of the American Society of Architectural Illustrators. He holds a degree in architecture from Rhode Island School of Design and worked as a senior architectural designer for architects prior to starting his own architectural illustration studio. Robert works closely with clients to develop concept sketches based on “napkin” sketches as well as marketing renderings developed from CAD files.
